I hope to be teaching my course "Spontaneous Combustion," with my friend and
co-teacher, the visual artist Yani Batteau, at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.
Watch this space for more details.
I'm teaching a one-evening seminar at Grub Street, Boston's writing center,
on Wednesday June 25 from 7-10 at the Grub offices, 160 Boylston Street, in Boston.
The workshop is called "Writing from Real Life," and focuses on how to turn difficult
life experiences into finished (well-crafted) work. Call the office at 617-695-0075 to
sign up.
The "First Kiss Project" is holding two more workshops--in June--6/5, 12, 19 and 26
and in September--9/11, 18, 25 and October 2. The 4-session courses cost only $100
and focus on a significant, memorable kiss between two men. Bob Linscott, the creator
of the course and I led a workshop last fall and co-created a performance at the
Boston Center for the Arts, as part of National Coming Out Day. The June workshop
is taking place at Ethos, 555 Amory Street in Jamaica Plain--7-8:30 PM. To sign up
for either workshop, please email me directly at judah.leblang@gmail.com.
I also work with writers one on one. If you need help and
guidance with editing and shaping a piece, please contact me.
My rates are reasonable, and my schedule is flexible. Email me to find out more.
